This is where current and past participants in Steven Hill's Journey Workshops can post photographs of their work, create links to their personal websites and blogs and communicate with others about their continuing journeys...
Steven....will be forever grateful. I am looking forward to getting home and continuing the journey...many blog posts to follow... blessings and peace lynne
Hi Steven! This is fabulous! I remember at the first journey workshop at MISSA we wanted to continue sharing with others that follow. I am so escited that this was acheived and grateful that you invited me into the loop.
Trezlie, I hear my mother saying to me "It's better late than never!". I look forward to your participation! There is no telling what might happen by giving everyone that has participated in Journey Workshops a forum to communicate with each other...
What a great idea! I've always wondered what all the other particpants were doing. The July 08 journey has been incredible - thanks for all the support Steven! I don't know what I will do without those monthly critiques and pep talks as I just have this last get together in less than 2 weeks at Center Street. I really have to recommend blogging to anyone doing ceramics as it has been invaluable in helping me to articulate thoughts about my work as well as helping me to focus. Plus it serves as a valuble reference as I can look back from time to time and can see the progression. Eva Gallagher
Its looks like I'm done. I can't get another kiln loaded, fired and cooled before this weekend's return to Center Street Clay. I wish I had more time, a year sure few by really fast. Maybe now that the workshop is coming to an end, I can get some other things done around the here. Like the house that needs exterior staining before it gets too cold.
I've had some good progress and some problems too. I guess thats what happens when you switch from gas to electric kilns and cone 10 to cone 6. Plus the last couple months I took a left turn and added crystaline glazes in there too. Its been fun and disapointing but I learned a lot and I'm sure I'll learn more in the future.
